Crayfish

This diminutive and tasty relative of the lobster feeds at night. Its diet consists mostly of plants and occasionally animal life that it tears apart with its pincers. During the day, the crayfish hides beneath river rocks or in a burrow. In soft ground beside the river, a chimney of tiny mudballs gives away the presence of such a burrow.
